This maintenance of the pump truck at home will keep your car clean and easy to use. Only when the pump truck is well maintained can it be used for a longer time, reduce losses, extend service life, and reduce maintenance of accessories.
The following three maintenance procedures can be learned to effectively maintain your pump truck.
1. Polish the bearing with gauze
When some people replace the bearing, in order to increase the contact area between the bearing and the crankshaft, they use sandpaper to polish instead of scraping the bearing. This method is not advisable in actual maintenance, because the abrasive grains on the sandpaper are harder, and the bearing material is softer, which makes it easy for the sand grains to embed into the alloy during grinding, which will accelerate the wear of the journal when the diesel engine is working and shorten the service life of the crankshaft.
2. The bolts are tightened too much
The tightening torque is specifically specified in the manual and must not be changed at will. However, many users mistakenly believe that tightening it will be safer, but tightening it too much will cause the screws or bolts to break, and it may also cause failures due to thread or nut slippage.
3. Tire pressure is too high
Tire pressure that is too high or too low will affect its service life and is not conducive to safe driving, especially in summer. The scientific inflation standard should be: based on the standard tire pressure, the tire pressure should be slightly adjusted as the temperature changes. For example: summer should be 5%-7% lower than winter, because the temperature is high in summer, the gas is heated, and the pressure increases. On the contrary, winter must reach the standard pressure or slightly higher.
